Classes, retreats and workshops are given in Ms. Loving's private
studio. Ms. Loving is also available to travel to YOUR SCHOOL or YOUR AREA to teach and/or do Painting Therapy. A typical
visit would be as short as a weekend retreat and as long as 6 to 8 weeks.
Examples:
ARTIST-IN-RESIDENCE:
2001-2002 AND 2002-2003
Three 6-week blocks each year
Lake Champlain Waldorf School, Shelburne, Vermont
Faculty:
Taught Light, Color, and Darkness in watercolor to Faculty once each week for first 2 blocks,
(6 weeks each block X 2 = 12 sessions);
8th Grade:
Veil Painting for 2 weeks, 1st block,
Wet-on-wet for 2 weeks, 2nd block;
PaintingTherapy:
Worked with children (K-10) and adults, average 15 to 20 clients twice weekly for 6 weeks;
Consulted with Anthroposophical Physician for each client;
Community Outreach:
Offered veil painting and/or wet-on-wet watercolor workshops open to the broader community during the 6-week block. Workshops
were as short as a half day and up to 6 Saturday mornings.
Exhibitions:
Faculty, student and artist's works exhibited in the school.
